Trusted General Contractor in Yorkville

Our Work in Yorkville

At Wave Builders Inc., we are a licensed and insured general contractor focusing on providing high quality services right here in Yorkville. Yorkville is a beautiful city in Illinois, with the Fox River flowing through the heart of the city, and it’s one of the places where we help homeowners and business owners modernize kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, and more.

Yorkville is different from many other areas in Illinois, and one of the reasons it’s different is because about half of all homes in Yorkville were built between 2000 and 2009. A lot of building was done during this time period in Yorkville, and with about half of homes in the city being built around the same time, many are in similar situations. This means that as these homes are getting older, parts of them might start to feel outdated, and they might need some sort of remodel. Here are some common situations from homeowners we see in Yorkville:

Outdated finishes: Builder-grade kitchens and bathrooms from that era are becoming outdated, and they are some of the most common remodels that we perform.

Needing more space: Many people that have lived in their homes for a while, or even if they’re just moving in, are planning on expanding their family at some point in the future. However, certain areas of the home, such as their kitchen, bathrooms, or overall living space are just not big enough for more people. That is why they give us a call to come up with a solution, such as creating a bigger bathroom, adding more room to their kitchen, or even building a room addition onto the home.

Finishing the basement: When these homes were being built in Yorkville during this period, many homes were not built with finished basements, and that is something we have been changing for many homes in Yorkville. Whether you want the extra living space or just a better looking home, having a finished basement is a great way to utilize as much space as possible in your home to ensure there is room for everyone.

Aging decks: Original wood decks from that time period are reaching the end of their use, and we’re able to rebuild and replace them so they’re safe and solid once again.
